    This work, Budokon Mobility [Mixed Movement Arts] allows athletes, movers, grapplers, martial artists to slow down their movement and to explore the quality of their movement. It helps you to identify sticky points within the movement and builds both strength and flexibility in the joints and connective tissue by working into your deepest ranges and surrounding muscles, tendons and ligaments. 🔥🤓

    Rolling waves are a primary transitional style in the Budokon Movement Matrix System, but essentially they help us to learn how to create waves that connect the lower body and the upper body to essentially establish spinal mobility and integrated movement (one big flow). 💙🐉

I began using these waves not only as a method to transition from shape to shape, but also a way to bridge the gap between Strength Training and Mobility/Flexibility Training. 🤸‍♀️🔥

Usually when I would only train strength, I would become stiff and sore and my muscles felt over activated. But then when learning how to use the breath along with Rolling Waves and Softening through mobility or flexibility sequences during the strength session, I learned how to establish a fine balance. ♎

If you're burning out quickly during your session, perhaps you need to learn when to soften and breathe and mobilise, so that you can quickly recover to continue with the strength work. 💪

These qualities overlap, which is why a practice is so important for your overall athleticism. 🙏

    Do Your Words Meet Your Actions? 🔥

Real change, real progress, and real growth - in my opinion, stem from the ability to remain in integrity with who you are and what you say you're going to do. 💯

We cannot expect a different outcome or a better one, or even to be happy with where we are at, if our outer world is not aligning with our inner world. 🌎 

For example, if we have set a goal to train X amount of times this month, then stick to it. Follow through with it and give it your all. See what happens. 

If you've promised to do something for someone, follow through with it ... Even if it isn't what you feel like doing in the moment. 🐉

The worst thing one can do is spit words without the sequential action. That's just meaningless and often disappointing. 

Let's aspire to be better than that. 😊✨

However, none of us are perfect...and when I feel like I'm not living in alignment, I usually do nothing. Because this allows room to pause and reflect until the next course of action gets clearer. ✨🙏

It's okay to have thoughts, worries and more so long as you can find presence with what is. To be in the now, by focusing on the inhale and the exhale, listening to the sounds around you and the sensations of the wind against your skin. 🔥🐉

It's not about blocking it all out. It's about remembering that you are alive right now. You're filled with Love, if you can open your heart to it. You're filled with an inner energy that radiates to the rest of the world. ✨

Doing strict core work in my calisthenics training has helped significantly with my overall strength and athletisicm, but more importantly stability in my daily practice. For someone who has been hypermobile, I find that having a really strong core, back and shoulders - everything functions so much better with less pain and more power! 💪😜
